Village Hotel Basingstoke

Overall clean and cool place with efficient staff. Incredible and easy location just a short walk away from The Malls. Found in the lovely area close enough to railway as well as the restaurant.

Good pool, parking onsite. The breakfast with very nice coffee.

Couple getaway, can't go wrong

The breakfast was fantastic, really delicious and a great variety. The staff were super cute and friendly.

It was a bit pricey, but still within acceptable limits.

I had a solid five-night stay in a double room where the breakfast was great and I loved the coffee from the Starbucks in the lobby. The gym was extensive and I really enjoyed relaxing in the sauna after a workout. Only downside was the shower was a bit chilly after four minutes, but it didn't ruin my experience. 😄

exploring parks and shopping near the city center

I really enjoyed my stay here because it was just a short walk to Eastrop Park, where I strolled through beautiful green spaces, and I also loved how close I was to the Festival Place Shopping Centre for some quick shopping after my city explorations.

Lara at check-in was amazing, but gym hours could be better.

The room was fantastic-super modern with a huge comfy bed. The shower was a walk-in rainfall type, really cool. I loved the smart glass that can go from clear to frosted for privacy. There were nice touches like a big LG TV, a great hairdryer, and even automatic floor lights that turned on in the bathroom. Definitely felt cozy and well thought out!

Lively atmosphere with great gym and pool facilities. The music from the gym could be really loud at times.

Perfect spot for a quick stay!

Really enjoyed my time here. The room was cozy, just right for a night, and the shower was fab! Even though breakfast was a bit hit or miss, my eggs were crunchy, the food was decent overall. The bar was also really cheap, a pleasant surprise. Just wished I could've had breakfast this morning but had to run. Still a nice place!

great design but minor amenities could improve

The room design was excellent with a spacious layout and quality fixtures. Breakfast offered an extensive selection, good and satisfying.

Some amenities lacked finer details that would enhance the experience.

I appreciated the modern, clean design of the Village Hotel Basingstoke, made navigation easy. The facilities were accessible and well-maintained.

A shower door would improve experience significantly.

The stay was enjoyable with a very clean and comfortable Double Room. The cozy bed provided a great night's sleep, and the shower was excellent with all necessary essentials included. The gym was impressive and the swimming pool offered a fantastic way to unwind after a workout. the music from the gym was quite loud, making it hard to relax at times. it was a pleasant experience that I'd recommend to others.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when we needed to switch rooms. The gym and swimming pool were excellent. The room felt a bit small for our needs, and the walk to local attractions could be a little inconvenient despite being manageable. The grilled meat offered at the restaurant was a highlight for us.
